Beans Next Year
Oil on Canvas 24 x 30 $475.00 USD Sold
For all the "city folks": Beans Next Year means that this corn field will be planted with beans next year because corn pulls nutrients out of the soil and beans replace nutrients. Good farmers want to be good stewards of the soil and manage their resources.
I feel a bond to farm fields. We still own the family farm in Goodland, Indiana and I am lucky enough to live in a home surrounded by farm fields.
The painting is textured paint executed with various palette knives.
