Portfolio of Works

This collection represents my love of textured paint.  I paint with a large selection of palette knives and also use spatulas, old credit cards and anything that will move through paint in an interesting way.  Oil paint is still my medium of choice...even at today's prices.  It has a richness and a lovely pliability, and most paintings have several layers of paint to achieve the textures I require.  Capturing these textures are difficult to photograph!  I hope you get a sense of the energy and color from what I show you here.

This category could be "Abstract Impressionism"  or many other subheadings, but because most of this collection has a sense of an object, or a horizon, or a sense of landscape, so it makes sense to simplify for website categorization.
